Motel Portrait

Motel Portrait is a band from Frederick Maryland with a revolving lineup spearheaded by guitarist and vocalist Logan Wilms. Currently Ian Mcphail is on the drums and Nick Groves is on the bass. Motel Portrait released their debut EP Car Crash in 2020, as well as a recent experimental noise piece Rood Eht Nepo in May 2022. Their first full length album With Love & Solidarity will be released sometime in early 2023. Combining elements of abstract noise with shoegaze, punk, doom, and 80s inspired alternative rock. Lyrically they play with elements of depression, paranoia, political anger, regret, and exploitation under capitalism.

Richmond based post-hardcore outfit Followship is mainly known for their mix of dark, heavy guitarwork and soaring vocals, hearkening back to the glory days of the genre in the early 2000’s. Bringing their own unique flair to this classic sound, they released their debut LP ‘Violet Teenage Violence’ in August 2021.
