Fringe Stew Presents: Collapsing/Francis Thornton/Moyogash/Guillermo Pizarro/Glowhazel/Civilian Bombing Campaign
Experimental Music Concert Presented by Fringe Stew
Saturday, July 19th
Featuring
The moniker for noise projects headed by Fringe Stew founder Paul K.
Francis Thornton (formerly known as Without Mirrors and Total Body Disruption) and other associated projects past and present.
Francis has been making music in some form or another since 2005.
Started in Oct 2014. MOYOGASH aka Gene Anthony Santiago-Holt is a multimedia artist from Philadelphia. He creates drawings, and papier-mâché masks that function as props, and as alter-egos for his improvised video performances.
Flag Day Recordings operator, Guillermo Pizarro uses field recordings, tapes, harsh noise, synths and ambient textures to achieve his cinematic story telling through sound.
Glowhazel is the solo project of Arlington-based mountain dulcimer player Thiel Secrist, in an attempt to queer the boundaries between traditional music and experimental soundscapes. Since 2020, they’ve been blending their inspirations of folk, ambient, and drone into an entrancing improvised performance, reminiscent of that one dream you had about getting lost in the woods until dawn.
